a chateaux with its foundations in a roman fort, via medieval and Louis Quatorze; rather impressive at the top of a hill! and some rather neat formal gardens...

Wow! Beautiful. Wish my gardens looked a little like that. I fear my few sad roses are overcome with weeds right now.
